Women’s Ministry

Daughters of the King…every Monday, 6.30pm-8pm

The Daughters of the King group is ideal for young ladies who are looking to become well-rounded women of Christ. We have different topics such as financial management, good grooming and etiquette. Past themes have included life choices and how to be a good Christian wife. In fact anything that will make you a complete daughter of the king. For more information, please call Mrs Ebele Yough on 027 4248034.

Women of Virtue…every Thursday, 6pm-8pm

On Thursday evenings, you can come and join other women of God to praise and worship. Between 6pm and 8pm at the church office, a group of women meet to pray together, support one another and learn how to live Godly lives. Entitled Women of Virtue, the group is headed by Deaconess Vera Ashrifie. For further information, please call 0277 474414.

The women’s ministry arranges special events and prayer breakfasts throughout the year.

Youth Ministry

Hearts Aflame…every Thursday

The ideal group for 13-20 year olds, Hearts Aflame strives to inspire our youth and instil in them a passion for God. The program is designed to encourage a closer relationship with God through a number of activities tailored to the young people. For example, there is a football club, drama and choreography club and a reading and debating club for youths to join. Throughout the month, youth ministers give talks to the group and also counselling is available.

Children’s Ministry

The King’s Kids…every Sunday

For children aged 11 and under, we run a Sunday School called the King’s Kids. Our trained Sunday School teachers will teach your children about God and the Bible in a way that they will understand. The King’s Kids service takes place during first and second service every Sunday.

The Sunday School takes place at the Church office which is located at 31 Awulen Kojo Street. For more information please call the Head of Children’s Services, Ms Florence Owusu on 024 3641621.

Mercy Ministry

Agape Children’s Home

Ten years ago Agape Gospel Mission was given a direction from God to establish an orphanage for Ghana’s orphaned and abandoned children. Many of our children were rescued from dangerous, vulnerable and tragic situations. With our dedicated team of care givers, we’ve been able to shelter, clothe, feed and love these children as if they were our own. And more importantly, we’ve also been able to instil the word of God into them. Now, we currently look after 88 children and the Department of Social Welfare would like us to take in more. With your help and the help of other generous donors we can look after these precious children and make a lasting difference in their lives.

The Home is based in Oyarifa and is currently a home and a school to the children. Back in 2007, we believed there was a need to start our own school, called Agape Academy. In the Academy, the children follow the American school curriculum and we encourage all our children to attain the best, whether that’s through academia, sport or vocational education.

All members are welcome to get involved with the Home. If you’d like to come and visit the Home, please contact the church office on 021 502506.
